Is Griffith a guy or a girl?
Griffith is meant to look appealing to all, so he’s semi-androgynous to the point of almost appearing asexual. He’s meant to look noble, pure and trustworthy. When Gennon asks Griffith if he resents him, he reveals his motives for sleeping with the man and explains that he never saw him as anything more than a stone lying on the side of the path he walks. Having been insulted and humiliated, Gennon attempts to insult Griffith.
