I have been a life long NHL ’94 super fan and the one thing this perfect game was missing was fighting which was removed at the last second by programmer Mark Lesser on the orders of the NHL. The game will play just like old school NHL’94. On – Fighting is enabled. Bruisers are the only ones who can start a fight, though they can fight most players in the game (more in a moment).In the current NHL rulebook, the archaic reference to fisticuffs has been removed; fighting is now governed under Rule 46 in the NHL rulebook. Referees are given considerable latitude in determining what exactly constitutes a fight and what penalties are applicable to the participants.
