Why did COD WWII fail?
Activision has pulled the PC Game Pass version of Call of Duty: WW2 offline while it investigates an unspecified issue some reports claim is a remote code execution exploit that’s left some players grappling with app pop-ups, PC shut downs, and even screens full of pornography. Unfortunately, this version fell victim to an RCE attack which affected several users. Thus, Activision has decided to take the game offline in order to thoroughly investigate the problem.

Is it actually any good? Yes, it is. While most would agree that Call of Duty’s campaigns are often a throwaway experience, WWII’s is actually quite creative and very engaging for a few reasons. There is a great feeling of team effort interwoven throughout the game. The whole advertising behind it was “CODs going back to WW2! They tried to hype it up like it was the next big thing, and it flopped because it was so underwhelming. The guns were very limited, the maps were forgettable, and the operators didn’t even fit the time period. The whole game felt very generic.
