However, it was later scrapped in favor of an almost 3 hour long cinematic retelling of the game. That being said, re:coded is probably the only game you can skip. There are some re:coded defenders but honestly besides a magical book that maleficent mentions, there is not much added to the story that isn’t explained better in other games.Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded is a cutscene-binge that doesn’t really add much to anything outside of spearheading the next title at the very end. If you wish to know which games in the collection to skip, this would be one of them.
