Lots of fans were expecting a superhero movie and what they got instead was a sci-fi/monster movie with lots of drama. Grey Hulk was the original Hulk, and could only transform at night. But, due to Bruce’s repeated use of gamma radiation projectors that gave him full control when he transformed, he became the much more powerful Green Hulk whenever he became angry or upset. Grey Hulk found a way to not transform back into Bruce.
