Are Steam games for PC only?
Several game publishers began distributing their products on Steam that year. Initially developed for Windows, Steam was ported to macOS and Linux in 2010 and 2013 respectively, while a mobile version of Steam for interacting with the service’s online features was released on iOS and Android in 2012. The good news is we have Steam Play, which means that when you purchased your game on Steam you get a copy of this game on each OS that game supports. You will still be able to play these games on macOS 10. Mojave and earlier, Windows and in many cases Linux as well.
Does Steam have any exclusive games?
Half-life, counter-strike, portal, and their sequels are all steam exclusive. The only mandated steam exclusives are valve games. Anything else is purely out of convenience for the developer. More than half of developers feel they rely too heavily on steam to distribute their games, with 72% believing the platform has a monopoly on the pc games market.
