How many endings does The Forest have?
The game features two endings: If Eric activates the artifact, he causes the plane to crash and is implied to have found a sacrifice to revive Timmy. One year later, Eric and Timmy have apparently been rescued and are invited onto a talk show to promote Eric’s book, which chronicles his experiences on the island. Timmy struggles against the experience, and he fortunately does not mutate further while looking out onto the streets below. For the alternative ending, Eric can choose not to crash the plane.
Is The Forest a great game?
Overall, this game was very fun and creepy. The premise is very dark and there is plenty of gore. I loved the survival aspects, (hunting, gathering, foraging, crafting, building, traveling, exploring etc. There is a lot to do in this game and it can be very addictive.
