When did Grounded come out on Steam?
Grounded is a first and third-person cooperative survival game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and Xbox Game Studios. It was first revealed at X019 in London and entered early access on July 28th, 2020. It was released for Xbox and PC on September 27, 2022. Grounded 2 was released in early access on July 29, 2025, through both Xbox Game Preview and Steam Early Access. It was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2025, with the game available on Xbox Series X/S and Windows platforms.Starting this Thursday, November 12th, and running through Sunday, November 15th, Grounded will be available to play on Steam for FREE! Event period: Thursday, November 12th, at 10 AM PT, through Sunday, November 15th, at 1 PM PT.
