Development. One Piece Odyssey was announced on March 28, 2022, as part of the One Piece franchise’s 25th anniversary. It was developed by ILCA and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment and released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on January 13, 2023. The Odyssey will premiere on July 17, 2026. Universal hasn’t shared much else beyond the initial announcement, published via X on December 23, 2024: “Christopher Nolan’s next film The Odyssey is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX film technology.Christopher Nolan’s THE ODYSSEY has officially completed filming today, marking the end of a six-month production.The Odyssey is scheduled to be theatrically released by Universal Pictures in the United States on July 17, 2026, in IMAX, IMAX 70 mm film formats, and premium large formats (PLFs).
