You will understand and enjoy everything in OT2 even if you haven’t played the first game. Both games are great but the second game is just better in every way. Characters, Story, Battle System, World, Music, Etc. It’s just better.I personally found OT1 to be harder. Is Octopath 1 harder than 2?
The first is significantly more difficult. This is for two reasons: the characters are weaker and the enemies are stronger. On the former, the OT2 gang has access to Latent Powers (which are busted). They both have their strengths and weaknesses. KOTOR 1 is much better polished but doesn’t have quite the companion character development that 2 does nor does it have quite the same level of ability to modify that 2 allows.
