What Digimon is playable in Digimon World 4?
The game offers a choice of one of four starter Digimon: Dorumon, Veemon, Guilmon, and Agumon. Depending on what the player does in the game, the Digimon it selects and the level, it may gain a Digivolution. Both digimon & pokemon are anime made for kids. A action oriented dungeon crawler, rather than a Tamagotchi or a Turn based RPG, it’s gameplay is faster paced, but rather repetitive.Digimon are also really unorganised. People compare it to Pokemon, and those games are better at categorising pokemon by generation. Why was Digimon not successful?
Digimon’s marketing was rather poor in the US, not helped by the Digimon anime airing on TV while Pokémon was at the height of it’s popularity and that they had very noticeable surface similarities which made Digimon look like a shameless copy of Pokémon to those who’d hadn’t watched much of it. Pokemon came first before Digimon, but the latter is not a rip-off of Pokemon.
