Why can’t I play multiplayer in State of Decay 2?
To play multiplayer with friends or randoms in this game you will need to own a Microsoft Live Xbox Account. It doesn’t have to have a subscription but you must have one. If you do not have a Microsoft Live account, you can simply make one for free on their website. You must add the player you want to play with on Xbox Live. Once you’re both friends you’ll be able to invite or join each others game via the interface in-game. Once you’ve done that, go in-game and press the ESC key, you’ll be able to see 4 sections that players can join into.
