Is Brink a single-player game?

Does Brink have a story mode?
It has a story mode which can be played cooperatively online in missions with up to 8 players. Players can create custom characters with additional rewards bought with experience points. When joining a game, the player replaces an AI fighter. All levels you can play offline you can play online. So if you want to play ANY mission offline (bot teammates and enemies) you could play with real players/friends as enemies/allies- but the story still progresses.Games may have MMO features like large worlds with online persistence but still not generally be considered an MMO, such as Grand Theft Auto V’s online play, while other games like League of Legends have small individual sessions but the global infrastructure requirements often allow for classification as an MMO.
