Why can’t I unlock the Maelstrom?
You must unlock the Maelstrom Shotgun through the Merry Mayhem event that is running from December 5 to December 19 in Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The weapon is the Mastery Reward for the event, and you’ll have to work your way through it to arrive at the grand prize. The Maelstrom was added during Season One Reloaded as the completion reward from the Merry Mayhem event. After the end of the event, it was added to the Armory, where it can be unlocked after earning a total of 250,000 XP with the weapon selected.
