In 2024, the ninth installment of the series, Crossroads of Ravens, was published in Poland. The book is a prequel to both the Witcher Saga and the short stories and describes Geralt as a young and inexperienced witcher shortly after completing his training in Kaer Morhen. Crossroads of Ravens (Polish: Rozdroże kruków) is the seventh novel and ninth overall book in the Witcher series written by Polish fantasy writer Andrzej Sapkowski, first published in Poland on 29 November 2024.
