RE4 is a bit longer than RE2 and just as replayable, if not more so imo. Its my favorite game of all time, hope you enjoy it! RE4 Remake has turned out to be a masterpiece yet again 17 years later. A work of art and outdone it’s original with Overwhelmingly positive reviews. The music, boss fights, mechanics, etc EVERYTHING delivers! I’m not even halfway through the game yet.RE4 (230 hours) – A masterpiece ahead of its time. Perfect mix of horror and action, despite the stop-and- shoot mechanic. RE5 (32 hours) – Fun but not as good as RE4. The new environment, the faster combat and more enemies, but zombies felt too human.

Why do people not like Resident Evil 4?
RE4 is a great game in its own right, but I’m finding it too be too radical of a departure from the things I enjoyed about the series. There’s much fewer puzzles, it’s more of an action game, and I didn’t like how the fall of Umbrella happened off-screen when the entire series was building up toward that moment. RE9 feels like a love-letter to the whole series; RE4R feels like a love letter to its original. I adore both so much, but my god RE4R is ridiculously replayable.
