Is there a second Forspoken game?
Since Forspoken launched, Luminous Productions has been absorbed into Square Enix itself and will work on future projects there. When that happened, it meant that there would be no Forspoken sequel coming and this was not the birth of some big new RPG franchise the way Square Enix was hoping it would be. Forspoken has failed to meet Square Enix’s expectations in terms of sales. And the game’s alleged production budget indicates that the company is unlikely to recoup its investment.
Is Forspoken a girls game?
The game focuses on fast and fluid terrain traversal, with an open world that allows free exploration. Players control Frey, a young woman transported from New York City to the fantasy world of Athia, where she uses magic to survive and find a way home. Athia is ruled by the tyrannical Tantas. It’s not really even two endings. Right before the final battle, you choose between two portals: one takes you back to New York, the other takes you to the final battle. If you pick New York, there is like a two second cutscene of Frey in NY with her cat, still homeless, and that’s it.Returning To New York There are no more fights, no more magic, and no more Athia. Frey comes back to Homer, and lives out her life as she would have, like Athia never existed. Going with this choice will end the game, rolling the credits after a small cutscene.As long as you don’t go back to New York you can keep playing after the ending and do all the side content.
