Alyx Vance was created for the video game Half-Life 2, and her design was created by Dhabih Eng. Her motions are performed by actress Jamil Mullen, who also provides the face design. She is voiced by Merle Dandridge in Half-Life 2 and its episodes, and Ozioma Akagha in Half-Life: Alyx. Alyx Vance, daughter of Eli Vance is one of the main characters in Half-Life 2. Armed with a pistol and Dog, Alyx makes many appearances throughout the game and is your quasi-sidekick.Alyx Vance is the twenty-something tomboy daughter of Eli Vance, a scientist at Black Mesa, and Gordon Freeman’s companion and ally in Half-Life 2 and the Episodes that follow.Eli being killed by an Advisor. Once Alyx has left, Eli states that he too is aware of the G-Man’s existence (the first character in the Half-Life universe to openly do so).
