How many worlds are in Pac-Man World 1?
Pac-Man World is a 1999 platform video game developed and published by Namco Hometek for the PlayStation. Controlling Pac-Man, the player must complete each of the game’s six worlds by collecting keys to free his captive family members, and reaching the end of each stage. In the original Pac-Man, an integer overflow caused by limitations of the original game’s hardware causes the 256th round of the game to initiate a glitch where the right side of the game screen becomes corrupted, making the round impossible to complete under normal circumstances.According to Toru Iwatani, the creator of Pac-Man, Pac-Man was designed to never have an ending. Level 256 the screen splits and a bug corrupts the right half of the screen displaying random symbols and dots. Due to the bug, Pac-Man cannot eat enough cookies to beat the level, thus causing the game to end at Level 256.
