Is Nioh 2 worth playing?

In Nioh, the enemies’ every move is crystal clear, and even if you accidentally take a hit, you’ll quickly learn to be smarter. At worst, a reckless rush will get you through. Intuitive feeling, after playing Sekiro, I feel that Nioh is much, much easier.Despite being an obvious Souls-like and taking clear influence and inspiration from FromSoft, Nioh in itself is a very unique game and far from a simple clone of the Souls formula. More simultaneous boss battles, and some bosses were made of BS and rainbows. Living Weapon and super busted set gear made this easier, but without those broken mechanics Nioh 1 is noticeably harder.
Is Nioh 2 hard or easy?
It’s hard, but not as punishing as the from games (until you get into the higher difficulty levels, but that’s a whole other rabbit hole you can dive down yourself) But it’s also fun and easy to pick up, so I’d say it’s hard at first but once you get the mechanics down it’s pretty easy and a blast to play, especially . So far) The game IS easier, but you also have a lot more options/combos you can utilize. In 1 and 2 it felt like you were just trying to survive the missions but in 3 it feels like the intention is for you to go wild with trying stuff.
What’s better, Nioh 1 or 2?
Nioh 2 has a lot of quality of life, balance adjustments, and features over Nioh 1. Where Nioh 1 may subjectively better characters, maps, and story compared to Nioh 2. If you have time, budget, and patience to adapt to the series, would say to play both. They are loosely connected but not in a way that requires any knowledge of the previous games. If Nioh 3 interests you, it is a perfectly fine starting point. Theres a very high chance that you will be lost in the story, simply because its a Nioh game.Nioh1 and 2 are the best soulslike games. The story are well executed and the gameplay is pretty amazing. I platinumed both nioh 1 and 2 and it is really a very fulfilling and rewarding experience, the same feeling I got playing Fromsoftware’s games. Less souls more spiritual successor to Ninja Gaiden.Areas/Missions [neutral] Nioh is not an open world like souls games instead, you have a map of the country divided into regions with each region having its own missions and sub missions, kind of like Tenchu 3 Wrath of Heaven on ps2.

You gain new magic as you progress, but nothing too drastic.Nioh is more like an RGB game, requiring resource grinding and the use of various unconventional techniques to make it easier to play. Nioh is notorious for its difficulty in terms of numbers; in Dark Souls, once your health goes up, you won’t be instantly killed, and monsters’ skills aren’t as troublesome.
Is Nioh 2 harder than Wo Long?
Nioh offers an intense challenge, but Nioh 2 reined in the difficulty. Wo Long has a simpler combat system and certainly takes notes from Nioh 2, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it continues the downward trend of difficulty. Nioh isn’t the only Soulslike Wo Long compares to, however. For new players who played neither game before, I would rate Nioh 1 difficulty 7/10, Nioh 2 difficulty 5. Nioh 3 difficulty 5/10 as an average for the entirety of the game.
