In my opinion – Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is an RPG. I get to play the role of three people who are important in the kindred world of Boston. And while there’s no combat, it’s still a Narrative-driven RPG and adventure. Still, the game that remains includes decent action, stealth, and an engaging story, which I enjoyed seeing through to the end. Bloodlines 2 doesn’t live up to the modern standards set by other open-world role-playing games, but once you get past that, it’s an acceptable vampire experience.Without a doubt, vampire: the masquerade – bloodlines is the best vampire game. Its deep role-playing, dark storytelling, and immersive world make you truly feel like a creature of the night. No other game nails the vampire fantasy quite like it.Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is a good game, but one that’s held back by the expectations of being a sequel to an all-time classic. Those hoping for the lively open world of Bloodlines should look elsewhere. Swansong is a largely linear experience that plays out much like developer Big Bad Wolf’s The Council. It’s branded as a roleplaying game, but behind the character stats and skill checks, it’s more of an adventure title. I can’t say that Swansong is strictly a role-playing game in the usual sense. Instead, it’s more of a hybrid of adventure game, role-playing game, and visual novel.
