So if you want to pick up where Remake Intergrade leaves off, you’d want to get Rebirth. If Rebirth was slow like Remake, it would take 6 installments to reach Sephiroth final. Remake is a linear story where you dont have much of a choice. Some minor chapters of limited exploration. Rebirth is much more massive with bigger open areas to explore and like a 100 mini games to tackle at your leisure.To say Rebirth’s character writing is a major improvement over Remake’s would be somewhat of an understatement. In Remake, almost every character felt one-dimensional and basically a caricature of popular RPG character tropes, with mostly terrible dialogue writing that not even the most talented voice cast can salvage.
