Resonance: A Plague Tale will launch for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 in 2026. The game will also be a day-one release through Xbox Game Pass. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is planned to be released in 2026 and will be available on Xbox Series X|S Day One with Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5 and Steam.

Sales. In the United Kingdom, the game was the fifth best-selling retail game in its week of release. On 4 November 2022, Focus Entertainment announced that the game had reached over 1 million players. Some sources consider Tetris to be the best-selling video game by combining the sales of all of its different versions, totaling 520 million as of 2022, while others consider the best-selling video game to be Minecraft, which has sold 350 million copies as of 2025, rejecting the aggregation of each Tetris release.
