Is Star Citizen free?
Star Citizen is not a free to play game. It will cost you $45 minimum. I suggest you get the Mustang package. You need to make sure you like this game, your computer can run this game, and you have enough patience for the alpha early access version before spending any more money. Subscriptions are optional contributions that any user can make to the Star Citizen Project. They are not to be confused with any kind of monthly subscription to play the game, as playing the game only requires a one-time purchase of the game itself for $45 and doesn’t require any subscription whatsoever to play.
